Last night I got to go to see the lantern festival right outside of Chiang Mai. The evening was spectacular!
Loi means 'to float' and Krathong refers to a leaf holding offerings. An off voice announced, in English, that we would be making a night of peace and joy.
I went with people I have grown to care about so much: Steve our school leader, and Manoj, Alicia and Paul. We make up the majority of the school of frontier media.
Experiencing Thai culture has been a positive and beautiful experience. I have never experienced anything like this before!
