What we do
Both Carla and Keegan work in service-oriented roles. We both seek to serve “front-line” missionaries like church planters, pastors, and mercy-ministry volunteers. 1Peter 4:8-10 says:
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
We do this primarily through two ministries; Create International and The Well. Through Create we’re creating contextual, indigious resources that tell the unreached about Jesus’ love, grace, and honour. These are usually live-action or animated films, but we also create children’s books, paintings, and other print or audio materials!
Working at the well is all about mental health! Mental health in missions is crucial. The demands and challenges of missionary work can take a toll on one’s emotional well-being, and without proper support missionaries may experience burnout, anxiety, depression, and need to stop serving. By addressing mental health, missionaries can become healthier and more resilient. Ultimately, prioritizing mental health enables missionaries to thrive and fulfill their mission with strength, resilience, and compassion.
Create International is a communication ministry which seeks to “Declare God’s glory in all the world” through producing and distributing indigenous media resources, to initiate and strengthen evangelistic and church planting efforts among the Unreached People Groups of the world.
The Well International serves cross-cultural workers in Asia and around the world through clinical counselling, soul care, coaching, debriefing, training and events – and they do this online and in-person.
Some artsy stuff!
Below you’ll find some of the actual work we’ve been involved in that we can show you publically. This is not all crazy-up-to-date, but it’ll give you a good sense of some of the resources and media we create!
